rainbow in a cup!

i came across this picture on a blog a while ago and i just wanted to share because it's sooo cute. and i love to crochet also, so i think i'll try to make some of these for decoration. haha, and in a pretty martini glass!!

this is such a great DIY project for when you have those small amounts of yarn leftover from your other projects. i never know what to do with them, but now i can make these cute crochet balls! i think if you click on the caption link, there are instructions on that blog.

chugging along & a surprise!

with wedding season coming up, crystal and i have been looking throughout etsy for custom requests to do, and still creating and crafting, surrounded by fabric, paper, ribbons, you name it. wouldn't we love it if we could do this all day, every day.. : )

stay tuned within the next few weeks for a surprise that we'll be revealing! we can't tell what it is yet...how would it be a surprise then? all we can say is that there's even more paper&silk love to come!
